Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has signed a long-term management agreement with the owners of Encantado, an upscale resort in Tesuque, to operate it as a Four Seasons resort.
Following a short transition period, the property will be renamed Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe.
Cindy Racco is the new general manager of the resort. The 14-year Four Seasons veteran joins the team from the historic Biltmore Santa Barbara, where she was resort manager.
Just north of Santa Fe, Encantado is a 65-casita property that includes Terra restaurant and a spa that offers both modern therapies and indigenous treatments. It also boasts a fitness program and a pool.

Two first novels emerging from author
Robert Mayer's writing workshop have just been published, an email from Mayer said.
Creed, a thriller by
Michael Chavez of Pecos, has been issued by Quest Books, a division of Regal Quest in Nederland, Texas. The book received a rave review in
Publisher's Weekly.
Larry Kilham, a retired engineer, has published a very different thriller,
Love Bytes. Both novels take place partly in New Mexico and partly overseas, but
Creed is soaked in the local drug scene while
Love Bytes focuses on the world of super-computers.

Citing a good response to its year-old sewing school, Santa Fe Fabrics is gearing up for a busy summer, owner
Nancy Arnold said.
"Sewing is back," Arnold wrote in an email. "People want to learn how to create things from fabric, and we have the expertise and the materials to teach them." The store and school have been busy, racking up more than 15,000 sales transactions since the business' opening, Arnold said.
