Church to host prayer service for Connecticut shooting victims

A Santa Fe church late Friday announced plans for a prayer service on Saturday, Dec. 15, “honoring and mourning the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.”

The service is scheduled for 3 p.m. at St. Bede’s Episcopal Church, 1601 S. St Francis Drive.

The Rev. Nicolette Papanek, priest-in-charge, will lead the service.
