Indian Market artist Geronima Cruz Montoya was recently spotted ordering a tortilla burger at El Parasol.

Jason Sudeikis, the Saturday Night Live star who has been filming We’re the Millers in New Mexico, stopped by The Daily Show with Jon Stewart this week to talk about his impersonations of Mitt Romney and Joe Biden. Sudeikis stumped Stewart when he mused about the complicated ramifications of an electoral college tie, including the possibility of having a President Romney and a Vice President Biden, which would have made Jason’s job just a touch more difficult. Stewart acknowledged in the next episode of the show that he had no idea what Sudeikis had been talking about until he researched the confusing scenario.

La Mitotera wishes a happy belated 125th birthday to iconic artist Georgia O’Keeffe. The occasion has inspired reflection on the painter’s work as well as interesting and unusual travel packages (like the three-day experience offered by the Inn on the Alameda). Another way to celebrate is to derive kitchen inspiration from Margaret Wood, who worked for O’Keeffe and authored A Painter’s Kitchen: Recipes from the Kitchen of Georgia O’Keeffe. Wood has also hosted demonstrations at the Santa Fe School of Cooking. While La Mitotera can barely scramble an egg on her best day, she’s tempted to pick up the most recent revision of the book just for the Norwegian apple pie cake with rum sauce recipe.

Albuquerque actress Willow Shields, a supporting character in The Hunger Games franchise, looked pretty and age appropriate in a black and white Marc Jacobs dress at the premiere of Breaking Dawn Part 2. She arrived at the event with equally adorable co-star Amandla Stenberg. Shields headed straight to adoring fans who took pictures of her with Mackenzie Foy, who plays Edwella spawn Renesmee in the film that is sure to be abhorred by the critics while cleaning up at the box office.

Mark Wahlberg, who recently filmed 2 Guns here with Denzel Washington and was spotted multiple times at Buffalo Thunder, has signed on to play the lead in Transformers 4 — because it’s never too early to revamp a franchise, right? Right.

Filming for The Lone Ranger might be over, but Johnny Depp seems interested in more than a fling with New Mexico. He was spotted this week at La Fonda.

A reader said she could have sworn she saw actor Warren Beatty at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center. It’s possible — Beatty’s sister is Santa Fe resident Shirley MacLaine.
