Santa Fe C-A-M-P (Creative-Arts-Music & Performance) Studios is hosting a free workshop Dec. 15 to introduce the kiddies to Les Miserables. The Broadway classic is heading to theaters this Christmas, with a cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried. According to a news release, parents and family members are welcome to join their children, ages 7 to 17, for the workshop that will introduce the music (including singing) and explain the story. The studio is behind the Santa Fe Place mall. Call 946-0488 for more information and to reserve a spot, or visit facebook.com/santafecampstudios.

La Mitotera has heard rumblings from several people that Mark Zuckerberg and his new wife, Priscilla Chan, have been spotted on the Taos Plaza and around Santa Fe. An attempt to confirm the Hoodied One’s visit to New Mexico by looking at his Facebook profile (in case a status update was tagged with a location) proved futile. The boy king of Silicon Valley is apparently too clever to share his whereabouts with us plebeians.

Remember when Emma Roberts channeled Auntie Julia’s most famous character by dressing in Pretty Woman hooker garb on Halloween? If you believe Perez Hilton, et al., the actress is dying to remake the movie — as well as star in it — making her appearance in the costume somewhat of a public audition. Julia Roberts, of course, owns a home in Taos (one rumored site of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s upcoming wedding), and Emma filmed We’re The Millers in Santa Fe and Albuquerque.

Part-time Santa Fean Sam Shepard’s new movie Killing Them Softly was released this weekend and so far has received positive reviews. The mob thriller stars a chain-smoking, gun-toting Brad Pitt as an “enforcer” hired to track down dummies involved in a card-game robbery. The film premiered at Cannes and is already showing in other countries.
