The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
  • Erin Becker, no age, of 2491 Sawmill Road, was arrested Tuesday on 12 counts of forgery, 11 counts of possession of a controlled substance and trafficking of a controlled substance after police received a report from Sam's Club at 4201 Rodeo Road of forged prescriptions between Dec. 23, 2009, and Feb. 22, 2010.
  • Jesse Wagers, 1768 Hopewell St., was arrested Monday at 1600 Cerrillos Road on charges of criminal trespass, resisting an officer and battery upon an officer.
  • A 300-magnum rifle and stereo were stolen between 10 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday from a vehicle parked on Berger Street.
  • A truck tailgate bearing the High Mountain Mechanical company logo was stolen from a truck parked in front of the business at 2351 Fox Road sometime between Sunday and Monday. An orange fiberglass ladder was also stolen from the truck bed.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
  • A 2002 Yamaha Grizzly ATV and a trailer were stolen Monday from Calle Nueva Vista.
  • A laptop, printer and a black powder weapon were stolen Monday from Calle Cristobal.
DWI arrest
  • Billy Laverne, 47, of 1737 Avenida Bonita, was arrested Monday by New Mexico State Police on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated.
