The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
Luis Lozoya-Rivera, 18, 6952 Valentine Way, was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary of a motor vehicle, two counts of receiving stolen property and two counts of tampering with evidence after he was reportedly seen crashing a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer and throwing items out of the vehicle at about 2:35 p.m. Thursday.
A case of CDs was stolen from a car parked in the 500 block of North Guadalupe Street between 1 and 6 p.m. Thursday.
Someone stole ski equipment and credit cards from a Toyota pickup near Fort Marcy and Washington Street between 9 and 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
Someone broke into a 2012 Ford Focus at Alamo Car Rental, 630 Paseo de Peralta, through the passenger side window at about 10 p.m. Thursday.
A 2002 white Mitsubishi was stolen from Walmart, 3251 Cerrillos Road, between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:37 a.m. Thursday.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
An iPod and a briefcase were stolen from a 2001 Jeep and a 2010 Kia at the same residence off Canada del Rancho in Rancho Viejo on Thursday.
Alisha Valdez, 36, of Española was arrested and charged with battery on a household member after she was accused of throwing a pen at a friend's face after a day of drinking together off El Sitio Road in Española on Thursday.
Someone stole a "portable music player" from a car off Cañada del Rancho in Rancho Viejo on Thursday morning.
Someone attempted to pry open a door of a residence in the 400 block of Los Pinos Road in La Cienega between 11 a.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday.
A 1991 white Dodge Dynasty was stolen from a parking lot at Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino at about 2 a.m. Friday.
A man was seen opening a car off Grayhawk in Rancho Viejo before being chased off in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
DWI arrest
Joseph Salazar, 31, 1052 Avenida Linda, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on San Luis Street at about 2:30 a.m. Friday.
