The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
Thieves broke into the service bay at Zia Kia, 1701 St. Michael's Drive, on Sunday or Monday and stole two cars belonging to the dealer and one car belonging to a customer. One of the cars was a 2011 Kia Sorento valued at $38,000.
A resident of the 2200 block of Camino Carlos Rey reported finding a man she recognized as an acquaintance of her husband's in her home Tuesday. When she confronted him, the man ran away.
Someone kicked down the front door to an apartment in the 3500 block of Rufina Street on Monday, but took nothing from inside.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
A county resident reported buying a car on eBay for $4,700 on Jan. 27. However, the seller disappeared after the resident sent the money.
A Chihuahua puppy was stolen Monday from a residence on Tusa Drive.
Jewelry was stolen Monday from a home on Agua Fría Street.
Deputies arrested Chad Ritter, 33, on Monday and charged him with assault on a household member.
DWI arrests
State police officers arrested James Kailahi, 21, 15A Kiva Road, on Sunday and charged him with driving while intoxicated.
State police officers arrested Thomas Archuleta, 29, address unavailable, on Saturday and charged him with DWI.
State police officers arrested Marisa Marquez, 29, 2725 Agua Fría St., on Saturday and charged her with DWI.
State police officers arrested Francisco Gutierrez, 46, 1413 Agua Fría St., on Friday and charged him with DWI.
State police officers arrested Billy Laverne, 47, of Los Lunas on Feb. 22 and charged him with DWI.
State police officers arrested Hector Manuel Jimenez, 33, 2001 Hopewell St., on Friday and charged him with DWI, expired registration, no insurance, no license and no seat belt.
State police officers arrested Arturo Medrano, 19, 6457 Calle Kryshana, on Friday and charged him with DWI and minor in possession of alcohol.
Deputies arrested Hugo Gonzalez-Martinez, 38, 4650 Airport Road, on Monday and charged him with aggravated DWI and battery on a household member. His breath alcohol content was measured at .21.
