The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
• A backpack and keys were stolen late Wednesday or early Thursday from a 2008 Toyota pickup parked in the 2800 block of Don Quixote.
• A laptop computer was stolen between Feb. 26 and Thursday from a classroom at DeVargas Middle School, 1720 Llano St.
• A Santa Fe man was found dead Thursday at a home in the 1200 block of Cerro Gordo Road. There were no signs of foul play.
• Alton Walsh, no age given, of Santa Fe was arrested Wednesday on bench warrant charging failure to appear in court on a charge of battery against a household member.
• A residence in the 6300 block of Vuelta Ventura was burglarized Jan. 23. Several undisclosed items were taken from the home.
• A 40-caliber SIG Sauer handgun was stolen late Thursday or early Friday from a 2004 pickup parked in the 3200 block of Primo Colores Street.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following report:
• A white 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer, New Mexico license JJW 077, was stolen Thursday from a residence on Madison Road.
