The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
• A guest at the Inn of the Governors, 101 W. Alameda St., told police Friday that jewelry valued at $1,200 apparently was stolen from her room.
• Juanita Martinez, 42, of Santa Fe, was arrested Saturday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and concealing her identity.
• Two cell phones valued at a total of about $1,000 were stolen Saturday from the Verizon Wireless store at 3545 Zafarano Drive.
• A 9mm Browning high-power handgun, a flat-screen TV, jewelry and prescription medications were stolen Friday from a residence in the 200 block of North Guadalupe Street.
• A New Mexico license plate, 427 NXT, was stolen Friday from a 1996 Ford Contour parked in the 3100 block of Cerrillos Road.
• A woman was found dead in her bed by a caregiver Sunday at a residence in the 3200 block of Calle de Molina. There was no mention of foul play in the police report.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
• A woman attending Sunday services at Saint Maria de la Paz Catholic Church, 11 College Ave., returned to her car in the parking lot to find that the vehicle had been burglarized. Taken from the vehicle were two purses, three cell phones, a digital camera, an iPod, $527 in cash, credit cards, a driver's license, a checkbook, medication and makeup. A window had been broken out. One of the credit cards was later found to have been used at the Allsup's store at Agua Fría and Morning Drive.
• Jenny E. Montoya, 24, of Pecos was arrested Sunday on charges of driving on a suspended or revoked license, equipment violation, no insurance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on N.M. 14.
• Theresa Montoya, 40, and Christina Points, 23, both of Santa Fe, were charged in connection with the theft of a 1994 Toyota pickup truck after they were found in the truck in the 3000 block of Rufina Street and reportedly confessed to taking it. The vehicle had been left with the keys inside.
DWI arrests
• Santa Fe police arrested Kenneth L. Mitchell, 19, of Santa Fe late Friday on charges of driving under the influence after a rollover crash on Sierra del Norte.
• Kim A. Miller, 45, of Santa Fe was arrested by city police at a DWI checkpoint Saturday and charged with driving under the influence.
• Brian Davis, 39, of Santa Fe was arrested by a sheriff's deputy Sunday on suspicion of driving under the influence and speeding after a traffic stop on Airport Road near South Meadows Road.
Speed SUV
• Today's location of the Santa Fe Police Department's mobile speed enforcement vehicle: Wood Gormley Elementary School: east on Booth Street, between Don Gaspar Avenue and Webster Street from 7:25 to 8:15 a.m. and 2:10 to 2:55 p.m. When not at the school, the vehicle will be parked on Don Gaspar Avenue between Cordova Road and San Mateo Road.
