The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:

• Officers arrested Aaron Lucero, 21, 1092 Camino Vista Aurora, on Thursday and charged him with larceny. Lucero was arrested at Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, where he was accused of stealing more than $2,500 worth of medical supplies and equipment.

• A television and a VCR were stolen Tuesday or Wednesday from a home in the 200 block of Loma Entrada.

• Management at JC Penney, 4250 Cerrillos Road, reported that an employee embezzled $1,500 from the store between Feb. 8 and Feb. 15. The employee was fired prior to the report being made.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office is investigating the following reports:

• A burglar broke into a vehicle on Avenida del Sur and Richards Avenue between 10-11 a.m. Thursday and stole a cell phone from the center console.

• A purse was reported stolen from the floorboard of a vehicle parked in the area of College Avenue and Richards Avenue between 10-10:30 a.m. Thursday.

DWI arrests

• City police officers arrested Gabriel Rodriguez, 27, 103 Victoria St., on Thursday and charged him with driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, speeding, no registration and no insurance.

• City police officers arrested Abigail Schmidt, 31, 510 Old Santa Fe Trail, on Tuesday and charged her with aggravated DWI and following too closely.

Today's location of the Santa Fe Police Department's mobile speed enforcement vehicle:

• From 7:25 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. to 2:55 p.m.: Atalaya Elementary School. When not parked at the school, the vehicle will be on northbound Old Pecos Trail at Calle Espejo.
