The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:

• The windshield of a 2006 Nissan pickup parked in the 3300 block of Cerrillos Road was broken Wednesday.

• A 2006 Dodge pickup parked in the 1200 block of Siler Road was scratched Wednesday.

• A window was broken out at Linda's Nails, 1608 St. Michael's Drive, late Wednesday or early Thursday.

• Marcelina Herrera, 26, of Santa Cruz, was arrested Thursday on charges of attempting to steal a city of Santa Fe garbage truck. The truck was apparently parked on Plazuela Serena.

• A 2005 pickup parked at the State Employees Credit Union, 813 St. Michael's Drive, was broken into between Feb. 20 and Thursday.

• A flat-screen TV, a DVD player and two video-game systems were stolen Thursday in the burglary of a residence in the 1700 block of Paseo De La Conquistadora. Entry was made through a back window.

• A purse, $1,000 in currency and a giraffe print were stolen Thursday from a 2003 Toyota parked outside a residence in the 2000 block of South Pacheco Street.

• Diego A. Olivas, 30, of Santa Fe was arrested Thursday on charges of driving with a revoked license and failure to stop at a stop sign. Found in a backpack were a 40-caliber Glock handgun, 26 full metal jacket bullets, two 13-round magazines and a Leatherman knife.

• Ricardo Chavez, no age given, of Santa Fe was arrested early Friday on charges of criminal damage to the property of a household member.

• Lawrence O. Gallegos, no age given, of Santa Fe was arrested Thursday on charges of driving with a revoked license after a traffic stop at Calle de Suenos and Siringo Road.

• A 17-year-old girl at the Santa Fe Juvenile Detention Center told police she recently was sexually attacked at an apartment in the 3200 block of Rufina Street.

• Kenneth Pacheco, no address given, of Santa Fe was arrested Thursday on charges of assault against a household member and criminal damage to property after a domestic disturbance at 4529 Avenida Contenta.

• The front passenger window was broken Thursday on a vehicle parked in the 500 block of West Zia Road.

• Several pairs of boots were stolen late Thursday or early Friday from the Back to the Ranch store at 209 E. Marcy St. North and south windows had been broken.

• Someone entered a residence in the 200 block of Valle del Sol Drive between Jan. 13 and Friday. The intruder apparently entered the home to call the 411 information operator. Nothing was broken and nothing damaged.

• A black utilities trailer was stolen late Thursday or early Friday from Santa Fe Storage at 1259 Siler Road. The trailer bears the New Mexico license plate of 29569TRF

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office is investigating the following reports:

• A car parked at Santa Fe Community College was broken into Friday morning, but nothing appeared to have been stolen.

• Lorie Encinas, 40, of Santa Fe was arrested Friday on suspicion of possession of cocaine and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

• Jacob Gonzales, 26, of Santa Fe was arrested Friday on charges of possession of cocaine after he allegedly threw a plastic bag out of vehicle that had been pulled over for a traffic stop at N.M. 599 and Airport Road. Gonzales was the passenger in the vehicle.

• A 50-year-old woman was found unconscious and not breathing and later pronounced dead Friday at a residence on Gunnison Road. Attempts to resuscitate the woman, who had an extensive medical history, were not successful. There were no indications of foul play.

• An electronic game and a religious item were stolen Thursday from a 2004 Pontiac parked in the 3900 block of Camino Juliana. The glass on the right front door window had been shattered.

• Michael Martinez, 20, of Rio Rancho was arrested Thursday on charges of possession of marijuana and on undisclosed charges contained in a bench warrant after a traffic stop in the 6400 block of East Elm Street.

DWI arrests

• Sheriff's deputies arrested Melinda Martinez, no age given, of Santa Fe Friday on charges of aggravated driving under the influence.
