The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
Oxycodone and OxyContin tablets were stolen sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning from a duffel bag left inside a car parked at 2001 Hopewell Street. The suspect broke a window to enter the car and also attempted to steal the car's stereo.
A safe was stolen early Tuesday morning from Jackalope furniture store at 2820 Cerrillos Road.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
Aaron Mathis, 37, was arrested Monday on robbery charges. Mathis was inside his mother's home on Peak Place and deputies found him hidden under a mattress.
DWI arrest
Andres Aguirre, 2051 Calle Lorca, was arrested Monday on charges of aggravated DWI and not having a driver's license. He was arrested near the intersection of Cerrillos Road and Avenida de las Americas.
Speed SUV
Today's location of the Santa Fe Police Department's mobile speed enforcement vehicle:
From 7:25 to 8:15 a.m. and 2:10 to 2:55 p.m.: E.J. Martinez Elementary School. When not parked at the school, the vehicle will be on at Galisteo Street and West Alicante Road.
