The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
  • Officers arrested Felipe Carrillo, 39, 7225 Via Verda, on Sunday and charged him with unlawful use of a license and obstructing an officer.
  • Two young males broke in Saturday to a residence in the 2700 block of Nublado, then fled the scene in a tan GMC Yukon. The men stole jewelry from the residence, though it was recovered.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:
  • CDs, a Leatherman tool and summer clothes were stolen Wednesday from a car parked in a garage in the 2300 block of Rufina Lane. An unknown person pried open the garage door to gain access to the vehicle.
  • Deputies arrested Jacob Gomez, 24, address unavailable, on Saturday and charged him with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Today's location of the Santa Fe Police Department's mobile speed enforcement vehicle:
  • From 7:25 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. to 2:55 p.m.: Atalaya Elementary School. When not parked at the school, the vehicle will be on northbound Old Pecos Trail and Calle Espejo.
