N.M. Women's Open golf tournament set for Aug. 3

The New Mexico Women's Open is scheduled for Aug. 3 and 4 at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Championship Golf Course in Ruidoso.

The tournament is for professional and amateur golfers with a 20 handicap and below.

The tournament will have professional and amateur flight divisions, and competitors will have a practice round at the course Aug. 2. The entry fee is $300 for a pro and $200 for amateurs, and the deadline to register is July 31.
