Kyle Frassard singled home Evan Kohli with the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth inning, lifting the Santa Fe Fuego to a 7-6 win over host Las Cruces on Wednesday night in Pecos League action.

Santa Fe (14-26) never trailed in the game but did surrender leads three different times. The late rally made a winner out of former Santa Fe High pitcher Jerome Romero (2-0).

Jarod Bowser earned his first save, getting the final out with the potential tying run on first base in the bottom of the ninth.
