The Albuquerque Isotopes were officially eliminated from the Pacific Coast League playoff picture after Round Rock's 6-2 win on Saturday night.

Oklahoma City clinched the American South division title with the loss. The RedHawks will meet the North champion in next week's best-of-five American Conference finals.

Albuquerque's potent lineup was its undoing against Round Rock. The Isotopes (70-71) came into the series with the PCL's top offense but were held scoreless in the first 16 innings of the four-game series.

The Express led 6-0 before Chin-lung Hu's leadoff homer in the eighth inning finally ended the scoring drought.

Isotopes first baseman John Lindsey went 0-for-4 and is hitless in his last eight plate appearances. His average has dipped to .356 but it's still high enough to clinch the PCL's batting championship. He is the first player in Isotopes history to win it.

Charlie Haeger (4-3) took the loss for Albuquerque. He surrendered four hits with three walks in his six innings.

The Isotopes will wrap up the regular season with games today and Monday at Round Rock.
