Keep your fingers crossed.

The Albuquerque Isotopes have to travel from Memphis today.

The Isotopes saw the finale of their four-game Pacific Coast League series with the Memphis Redbirds on Friday suspended because of a slow-moving storm in the area.

The game will be continued as part of a doubleheader on Aug. 17 at 4 p.m. at Isotopes Park with Albuquerque leading 6-1 after three innings.

The game will be a full nine-inning affair with the Redbirds as the home team, and a seven-inning contest follows that.

The Isotopes now head home for a four-game set against the Iowa Cubs, but teams have not had much success with the route between Albuquerque and Memphis.

The Round Rock Express experienced troubles going from Memphis to Albuquerque on June 8.

A flight delay set off a chain reaction, which forced the Express to start the game with only 15 players before the rest of the team made it to the park late in the evening.

On Tuesday, the Isotopes were delayed in Dallas as a funnel cloud canceled one flight and another was delayed before they reached Memphis in the evening.

But that forced the postponement of the game and a doubleheader commenced Wednesday.

Notes: Isotopes third baseman Dallas McPherson is the leading vote-getter at third base for the PCL in the latest fan voting for the starting lineups of the Triple-A All Star Game, which will be played on July 16 in Louisville, Ky.

McPherson, the league leader in home runs (22), is the only Isotope leading at a position, although Chris Seddon (5-5, 4.01) is right behind Memphis starter Mitchell Boggs for the starting pitcher spot.

The fan balloting accounts for one-third of the total vote for the starting lineups.

Managers and general mangers of the respective teams plus the media make up the rest of the process.
