Does the name Jason Castro sound familiar? Castro finished in fourth place on American Idol's seventh season. Even though he didn't win, he's showing the world what he's got with his self-titled album that came out earlier this year.

Castro gives a unique sound versus the current fad of country, rap and rock. He's an acoustic/folk-pop singer-songwriter. The album debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Castro keeps his album short but doesn't let fans down with his upbeat music and feel-good lyrics. His first single, "Let's Just Fall in Love Again," is a good example of this, and reminds us how special it is to be in love.

But no matter which track you land on, it'll keep you wanting more.

I recommend this album to any fan of acoustic music, because he's an amazing guitarist with an upbeat attitude. I also recommend this album to anyone who's looking for music to lift your mood, because even if you've never been in love, this album makes you realize how important love is.
