  • What is Marketspace?

    MarketSpace is our online, local classified ads, as well as classified ads from across the country. MarketSpace also includes our local Yellow Pages – giving you access to an extensive database of local companies including restaurants, galleries, services and more.

  • What are the deadlines to have my ad appear in print? When will they appear?

    Ads placed on Marketspace appear online immediately after you click submit or purchase. When placing an ad you wish to have appear in the print edition of The New Mexican, choose the "Place Ad in Print" option during the ad submission process. If the ad is placed before 3 p.m. Mountain Time Monday through Friday, it will be in the following day's print edition. Saturday's deadline is 11am Mountain Time on Friday, Sunday's and Monday's deadline is 3pm Friday. Holiday's will have advanced deadline.

  • How do I get my ad online?

    All classified line ads placed through our classified department automatically appear online. You can also use our self-serve online system and select whether you want to place your ad online, both online and in print.

  • Will the ad appear the same online and in print?

    No. They are different formats and will conform to the styles of the relevant platform.

  • What types of edits can I make to my ad after it begins running in print or online?

    We can accept minor changes to your print ad such as price or phone number. Please call our classified department at 505-986-3000, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Online ads can be edited anytime by logging in and selecting the edit link that will appear on the screen's left-hand side.

  • What is the refund policy?

    Early cancellations are accepted as a courtesy, but rate adjustments or refunds cannot be made

  • What if there’s an error in my ad?

    Please check your ad for errors prior to final submission. If you notice an error in your online ad after it starts, simply log in and edit your ad. If you have an error in your print ad, please call our classified department, 505-986-3000 8am - 5pm, Monday-Friday, or email classad@sfnewmexican.com.

  • How do I cancel my ad?

    Online ads can be canceled by logging in and selecting "edit." To cancel a print ad, email classad@sfnewmexican.com or call 505-986-3000, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

  • What type of ads or notices can't be placed online?

    Legal notices and obituaries cannot be placed online. To place your notice in these classifications, please call 505-995-3818 or 505-986-3000. You can also email classad@sfnewmexican.com

  • How do I renew or change my ad?

    Online – Log in and click on edit my ad. Follow the steps. Print – Please call our classified department at 505-986-3000 or email classad@sfnewmexican.com
