Police notes, May 30, 2012
The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:

• Christopher Chilton, 27, 222 Ephriam St., was arrested in the 6300 block of Milagro Luna at 11:06 a.m. Sunday and charged with criminal trespass, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• A worker reported $1,000 worth of wood was stolen from a construction site at Interstate 25 and St. Francis Drive sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.

• Someone tried to break into a home via the skylight in the 600 block of Camino de la Luz sometime between Friday and Monday. Damage to the skylight was estimated at about $300.

• A resident of the 1500 block of Calle Angelina returned home Monday afternoon to find his front door open and a flat-screen television missing.

• A man reported that the windows of his Range Rover were broken Monday evening while it was parked at the Dale Ball Trailhead on Hyde Park Road. Among the missing items were a purse, iPad, wallet, credit cards and personal check.

• Someone cut the screen to a window between Friday and Monday in the 400 block of Rio Grande Place and stole a jewelry box and pocket knife.

• Designer clothes, purses, a laptop, knives and jewelry were among items stolen from a home in the 1300 block of Lujan Street on Monday morning.

• Someone stole $10,000 worth of jewelry and a Nintendo game system and games from a residence in the 1500 block of La Cieneguita sometime before 3:30 p.m. Monday.

• Vandals damaged a washing machine and dryer during a burglary of a home in the 1100 block of Camino Carlos Rey between 11 p.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.

• Someone damaged cabinets inside a home during a burglary late Sunday night in the 3200 block of Lorraine Circle.

• LaToya C'De Baca, 35, 1757 Mann St. was arrested and charged with receiving or transferring stolen property, speeding and other charges Monday night near the intersection of Rodeo Road and Rodeo Lane. Police say she was driving a stolen Subaru that belonged to New Mexico Highlands University. She was booked into the Santa Fe County jail.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:

• Someone entered a home through an unlocked window in the 6000 block of Vuelta Rael on Tuesday. Some electronic items were reported missing.

• Thieves broke the window of a vehicle parked off Hyde Park Road on Tuesday afternoon, taking with them a purse and other documents from the vehicle.

• Jewelry and kitchen wares were among the items reported stolen from a business in the 2800 block of N.M. 14. The owner reported that an employee had been stealing items for a period of time and was seen with the missing items.

• On May 23, a student reported damage to a car in the school parking lot at Pojoaque High School. Someone had scratched the hood and a front door of the vehicle with an unknown object. Suspects have been identified, but no contact had been made at the time of this report.

DWI arrests

• Marc Voltura, 49, 223 N. Guadalupe St., was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after he struck a fixture on Camino Santander on Saturday night. He also was charged with careless driving.

• Emily Lovato, 24, 1779 Hopewell St., was charged with DWI after police say she failed to obey a traffic signal. A preliminary breath test showed her blood alcohol level was more than 0.16. She was arrested near the intersection of Acequia Barada and Calle Atajo around 7:15 p.m. Monday.

Speed SUVs

• The Santa Fe Police Department listed the following locations for mobile speed-enforcement vehicles: SUV No. 1 at Rodeo Road between Richards Avenue and Paseo de los Pueblos; SUV No. 2 at Bishops Lodge Road and Valley Drive.
