In the final day of the Pacific Coast League season, Scott Van Slyke hit his first Triple-A home run for Albuquerque, which defeated Round Rock 4-0 on Monday afternoon at The Dell Diamond.
Van Slyke capped the scoring with a two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning.
The Isotopes took the lead with a run in the first and doubled the advantage on Michael Restovich's solo home run in the fourth.
Starter Tim Corcoran earned the win with six shutout innings. Corcoran (9-8) allowed five hits and struck out five. The ninth win was a team high.
Albuquerque finished 72-71, its second successive winning season and fifth in eight years.
