Valve Software released the second Left 4 Dead — and it's better than ever.

Left 4 Dead 2 takes everything the original had and improves upon it, with the addition of two new modes, more "special infected" zombies and the addition of several new weapons. The new scavenge mode divides eight players into two teams — one of survivors whose objective is to fill a form of transportation with random gas cans scattered throughout the game; and a team of "special infected" zombies whose job is to stop the survivors from reaching their goal before the time runs out.

The teams compete for 3-5 rounds, and the team to collect the most gas cans wins.

The new mode, called "Realism," removes the light around your teammates and makes you count on your communication skills to survive the mission. The game has five main campaigns that are even better than the originals and require much more teamwork.

The only real problem people might have with the game is the difficulty. Left 4 Dead 2 is much more difficult than the original, but trust me it's only that much more rewarding when you and your friends beat a level. This is a must buy for anyone who plays games on an Xbox 360 or PC.
